Founded by MaharishiAn Australian mindset coach says Transcendental Meditation® (TM) has significantly improved his life, enhancing his awareness, peace, and overall well-being.
David Titeu, a mindset coach, spoke with Mustata Nuristani, host of Stillness in Success podcast, to share how he used his own journey of “challenging traumas” to help Australians overcome “burnout, stress, anxiety, and self-sabotage”.
“I serve high performers, conscious leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals to help them create aligned success without self abandonment,” David said.
“And that typically looks like struggling with burnout, stress, anxiety, self sabotage, people pleasing and creating unnecessary suffering on the path to their own vision,” he said.
David’s journey to build a mental health business began after learning about his father’s attempted suicide.

“I had a real turning point in my life after learning about my dad’s attempted suicide,” David said
“That sparked a deep fire in my belly to build something that could help others,” he said.
“And to ensure that they don’t get to this place of hopelessness and desperation where suicide seems like the only option for them.
“And so the way that that looked was building a business in the mental health space devoted to emotional support and mental well being.”
While the mental health company was successful and won awards leading to many opportunities across Australia and India, David still felt he “wasn’t enough”.
“I still felt like I was behind. I still felt like I wasn’t enough,” David said.
“And that ultimately ended in the demise of the business, and my greatest fear of losing the biggest momentum, or losing all of the momentum that we had built, came true,” he said.

“I was self medicating, engaging in destructive behaviours to try and cope with the pressure which many high performers do unfortunately.”
David found solace in Transcendental Meditation (TM), which helped him achieve inner peace and authenticity.
“After we shut down the business, I didn’t know who I was without the title, it felt like an ego death in many ways,” David said.
“I was forced to sit with myself and ask myself existential questions like who I really am and what I really care about and what drives me and what inspires me,” he said.
“TM was a really big part of that. After learning TM life seems richer. I’m noticing things that I didn’t notice before, like birds chirping, the lush green leaves around the botanical gardens.”

Transcendental Meditation gave David access to his inner happiness “and a greater level of peace, patience and non reactivity to situations, especially challenging and potentially even triggering ones.”
“And it’s kind of supported by this foundation of bliss. And I really want people to buy into it. Because you know that it can seem Woo, or esoteric perhaps, but this is a felt sense that I operate from,” David said.
“I laugh more, I smile more, I’m just genuinely more loving and more compassionate. And my friends can attest to that.”
